Haven't been to Spec Vis in a while, butI still visit occasionally.

If ya wanna send me that powerpoint too, I've no trouble with viruses. My web space at http://www.ianviking.dsl.pipex.com/ is running a little low though.

Did y'all hear - the UK had the highest ever temperature last Sunday - 101F, 40C near London - we've had a real heatwave lately. Actually it's just about killing me! LOL!

For those of you who purchased the B5 Season 3 DVDs there is another gag reel easter egg. Put in the 6th DVD. Go to the Universe of Babylon 5. Go to Data Files. Press down, you should have a line of text (can't remember what) in the middle of the screen. Press down again and you will get the B5 "5" logo. 3 minutes of screw ups and gags.

For example, Mira could not break the Staff in Severed Dreams... The intense scene between Garibaldi, Sheridan, and Ivanova after making the decision to break away from Earth in Severed Dreams (the one in the hallway by the elevator) the random person who walks out of the elevator in his boxers...

    I laughed, they were funny.

As for the other extras: The cast commentary was not as funny this time, I think someone told them to be more serious. Ed Wasser, Richard Biggs, Bruce, and Jerry do the honors this time.

JMS discusses Severed Dreams and Z'ha'dum. For the most part he does not say anything that we have not read but it was interesting.

I have not watched the other extras quite yet. I was disappointed that JMS did not do a voice over for one of the Worlds Without End episodes. I get the real feeling that he is going out of his way to discuss the Sheridan/Sinclair situation. He barely mentions the change in his Season 1 or 2 discussions. Makes me think that there is more to it then he has said. (Shrugs)

Ok, for those of you interested in the MiG25 "Foxbat" unearthing referred to earlier by fanuilh, I got it up on a web page. Kind of fancy 'cause I couldn't figure out how to extract the pictures alone, and it came out ok. Keep in mind, though, that the pictures may take a bit to load in...but they will. I will try it with my modem line instead of the DSL I'm on now, just to see if there's a horrendous delay. Microsoft HTML generator is a hog, such as it is. If it's bad, I'll just post the pictures and trash the PowerPoint-like presentation.

Hello all. Sorry for not posting for some time.

I did want everyone to know that we had the baby. A little girl named Erin. Now Meaghan can finally be the bossy older sister she wanted to be.

We had her on Aug 7. We were scheduled to have a C-section on Aug 25, but my wife informed me at 3AM on the 7th that her water just broke. Oh well, best laid plans and all..... So a few hours later we became parents for the second time. Unfortunately since Erin was born a few weeks early (original due date had been Aug 31), her lungs weren't quite up to par and so when she swallowed amniotic fluid on the way out, she had a terrible time getting it all out. And she goat jaundiced as well. All in all, she stayed the entire time in the level 2 nursery for observation and spent a few extra days there after we were discharged. But she's home with us now and happily interrupting our sleep.

I put up some pics of her here. I haven't done much to format the site yet, but you can have a sneak peak anyway. http://rantarn.tripod.com/erin/index.htm
